
After two years of successful partnership with Southbank Centre, East London Dance and Big Dance in 2008 and 2010, Capital Age Festival was delighted to return to Bernie Spain Gardens in 2011. The festival was held on Sunday, 10th July 2011 from 2pm - 6pm at Bernie Spain Gardens (next to the Oxo Tower Wharf), Southwark and was, as always, FREE.

As part of Coin Street Festival, the afternoon featured something for everyone, from jazz and music hall to street theatre and dance.
No matter what age, people came along and joined us in celebrating the amazing work of older artists from across London!

Capital Age Festival receives regular support from the Baring Foundation.
For the 2011 festival, we were delighted to be part of Coin Street Festival which is programmed and managed by Coin Street Community Builders in association with Thames Festival Trust.
